ProductBogota D.C., Colombia · Mexico City, Mexico · Sao Paulo, Brazil

Published as: Product Lead, Verticals (Core Cards & Stablecoins) (Líder de Producto, Verticales - Core Cards y Stablecoins) - - LATAM

Clara is the leading spend management platform in Latin America. More than 40,000 businesses run on our corporate cards, bill pay, financing and B2B payments, and in 2025 the Financial Times named Clara the fastest-growing company in Latin America. We're ~400 people, backed by Kaszek, monashees, Coatue, DST Global, ICONIQ, General Catalyst and Goldman Sachs, among others.

We're looking for a Product Lead, Verticals (Core Cards & Stablecoins) to join our Core Cards Processing team and sit at the heart of Clara's payment infrastructure. In this role, you will work on high-impact initiatives across strategic verticals—including Travel, Fleet, Corporate Cards, and stablecoin-powered payment flows. You will partner directly with card processors, network partners (Mastercard), and internal software engineering teams to build and scale core issuing capabilities, card lifecycles, clearing, settlement, and stablecoin payment rails while shipping fast using AI tools as a daily multiplier.

  • Drive the evolution of Clara's card processing infrastructure: issuing, card flows, clearing, settlement, reconciliation, and payment applications.

  • Own product discovery and execution for stablecoin-powered payment flows integrated into Clara's corporate card infrastructure, navigating regulatory and technical nuances for cross-border payments.

  • Partner with business teams to translate vertical-specific needs (Travel, Fuel/Fleet, Corporate Cards) into durable core platform capabilities rather than one-off features.

  • Prototype, validate, and ship concepts faster using AI tools, contributing code via Github for configuration changes, copy, feature flags, and simple UI updates to keep momentum moving.

  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Operations, Finance, Compliance, and external network providers to turn complex operational and business problems into structured, shippable product solutions.

  • Define, prioritize, and track core platform metrics, using data-driven insights with tools like Metabase to inform long-term roadmap planning and execution.

Who you are

Must haves

  • Working proficiency in English and Spanish.

  • 5+ years in product management, product engineering, or a hybrid building role, with a track record of shipping products that directly move core business metrics.

  • Hands-on experience with stablecoins, crypto payment rails, or blockchain-based settlement systems (e.g., USDC, USDT, or on-chain payment flows).

  • Strong domain exposure to fintech, financial infrastructure, card issuing, or payment flows with networks like Mastercard or Visa.

  • Technical fluency with web architecture concepts and hands-on comfort using Github workflows (cloning repos, creating branches, pushing commits, reading diffs).

  • Experience or interest in AI tools to automate workflows, validate ideas, and prototype products quickly before committing core engineering bandwidth.

  • Strong data literacy with experience writing SQL, working with dashboards, and evaluating cohort analytics.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a track record of driving cross-functional alignment through clear written documentation.

  • Adaptability to fast-changing environments, bringing high agency and a builder mindset.

Nice to haves

  • Basic proficiency in Portuguese or a desire to learn it.

  • Familiarity with Latin American regulatory and compliance nuances surrounding crypto payments, stablecoins, and card issuing across MX, CO, or BR.

  • Independent analytical skills using spreadsheets, SQL, or Python to build custom data models and evaluate metrics.

  • A good sense of humor.
